Cancellation Policy

In order to continue providing the best possible scheduling options to my guests, I require 24 hours notice should you need to cancel or reschedule your visit with me. Should you cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 24 hours notice or fail to show up for a scheduled appointment, a rebooking fee will be required to be paid before a new appointment is scheduled. Rebooking fee for less than 24 hour notice is $50, a no show will result in $100.

Mutual Responsibility

Should I need to cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice, due to unexpected illness, unsafe weather conditions, power outages, other events outside of my control, a service credit in the amount of $50 will be added to your guest profile and applied at your next visit. I will make every attempt to reschedule you back on my calendar as soon as possible.

Confirming Appointments

When reserving your appointment, my online booking system will send an email of the appointment reserved to you. It will also send a text message confirmation 48 hours before your appointment, and a text message reminder 24 hours before your appointment. Please confirm your appointment. If your appointment has not been confirmed, it may be cancelled as a result. I will do my best to reach out to you. If I don't receive any communication from you after I tried to confirm your appointment, I will cancel your appointment, and fill it with someone who is on my waiting list.

Late Arrivals

In order to keep the schedule running on time, any guest later than 15 minutes of their reserved appointment will have to be rescheduled. I appreciate your time and will do my best to keep the schedule running on time. In the event I'm running significantly  behind, I will try to call you via phone to let you know.

Adjustments

I'm happy to alter a cut or color if it's not quite right...sometimes curly hair behaves differently at home, or an odd curl or two need to be adjusted. Please be sure to notify me within 7 days of the date of your service. I will do my best to accommodate  to getting you back into the studio as quickly as possible for the small adjustments. All services are non-refundable. I reserve the right to refuse this courtesy at my discretion

Detangling

Tangles are a normal part of textured hair. However, if excessive detangling is needed, an additional detangling fee may apply and/or service may be adjusted to stay within your scheduled appointment time.

Retail Return

I want you to be completely satisfied with any product purchase you make with me. If you are not satisfied with your retail purchase, I will accept retail exchanges at full credit for 14 days from your initial purchase. Retail refunds are not available. I will exchange your purchased product for another product that I believe is better suited to meet your needs and goals.

Children

While I love children, I work in a very small studio suite. I want to create a calm, relaxing environment for you. Please make arrangements for childcare or reschedule your appointment, as I have no additional room for guests not receiving services. I do not offer services to children under the age of 13.

Photo Release

At Curl Life Salon, I want to celebrate beautiful hair, so I ask that all clients agree to my photo release of capturing your before and after hair, and allowing me to use on my site, social media platform marketing purposes at my discretion. Please let me know if you would prefer to keep your face hidden. I will be happy to honor your request.
